Burning Palms - Club Championships
Sunday 12 February – 11.00 am the events commence at the Boat House followed by a sausage sizzle with free refreshments for the competitors and half price for the supporters.
Planned events are:
Surf Race, Board Race, Beach Sprint, Flags, Beach Relay IRB patient pick-up – 1 patrol on times. Events will be individual and by patrol with points.
Would Patrol Captains please push their patrol to attend especially on the Sunday for the competition.
Prior to Club Championships it is planned to have a get-together on Saturday 11 February at 3.00 pm –6.00 pm at the Clubhouse.
SLS Sydney Branch - Open Water & Beach Championships
SLS Sydney Branch – Open Beach and Water Championships
This Saturday, 4 February 2023 our March Past team is competing at the SLS Sydney Branch Championships as well as two of our younger members competing in beach events.
It will be held at Maroubra Beach with the March Past team marshalling at 7:30am.
The first of the beach running events starts at 7am. The Flags start at 9am and the beach sprints to start after the March Past events.
Our competitors would appreciate your support if you can make it to Maroubra Beach on Saturday to cheer them on. Look out for the Burning Palms caps and flags and your fellow club members.
Burning Palms Social Nipper Day
Burning Palms SLSC is holding a Social Nipper Day between the RNP clubs for the young and old including families with nipper activity commencing 10:00am followed at 12:00pm with BBQ. To RSVP please email info@burningpalmsslsc.com.au
