All members are reminded that your annual fees are now due. To renew you need to either fill out a member form and return with your fees or renew online using www.lifesavingonline.org.au and pay.

If you patrolled last season, intend to patrol, or do not intend to patrol this season, please let us know so we can start getting the patrol rosters together. Inform Leigh Emery or the Club on info@burningpalmsslsc.com.au

Proficiencies to be held at Burning Palms are on the following dates. Please note all members must be proficient by 31/12/2011.

Times:

  • Bronze and SRC Proficiencies will commence at 10:30am
  • IRB (Crew and Drivers) will commence at noon
  • ARTC and Spinal will commence at 1:00pm

Dates:

  • 16/10/11 – BM, ARTC, Spinal
  • 27/11/11 – BM, IRB, ARTC, Spinal
  • 4/12/11 – BM, IRB, ARTC, Spinal
  • 18/12/11 – BM, ARTC, Spinal, IRB

A positive and enjoyable Annual General Meeting, thanks to those who attended. The numbers were down on previous years but moving to the second weekend in July may have caused this. It was good to see a role-up of Life Members and Senior Service members Joan Vaughan and John Dewey who travelled from the bush to join us.

The commencement of the season is very close, so there will be a gear repair weekend - working on the Shed and gear 27/28th August 2011 commencing at 10.30am. If you can be there to assist Chris Fogwell I am sure he would appreciate it.
